When the air conditioner is in the cooling state, the four-way ball valve is not powered on, and the four-way valve is in the AD and BC connection state. The refrigerant is compressed by the compressor and converted into high temperature and pressure gas. It is discharged into the outdoor heat exchanger (condenser), and becomes a medium temperature and high pressure liquid after being absorbed and released by the condenser. After passing through the expansion valve, it becomes a low-temperature and low-pressure liquid and absorbs heat through the indoor heat exchanger (evaporator). After cooling, it becomes a low-temperature and low-pressure gas, and returns to the compressor from the four-way valve B port to continue the cycle. Heating: When the air conditioner is in the heating state, the four-way ball valve is powered on, the piston is moved to the right, so that AB is connected and CD is connected. The refrigerant is compressed by the compressor and converted into high temperature and pressure gas. It is discharged from the outlet into the indoor heat exchanger (condenser). The condenser becomes a medium temperature and high pressure liquid after absorbing cold and releasing heat, and becomes a low temperature and low pressure liquid after passing through the expansion valve. After the outdoor heat exchanger (evaporator) absorbs heat and cools, it becomes a low temperature and low pressure gas, and returns to the compressor from the four-way valve port D, and then continues the cycle.
The seat of the four-way ball valve is made of polytetrafluoroethylene material, which has certain elastic deformation and high strength to achieve good sealing performance and ensure the stability of the valve. Put the ball valve on the line. Either end of the two-way ball valve can be installed in the upstream end. Handle-driven ball valves can be installed anywhere in the pipeline. However, ball valves with gearbox or pneumatic drive should be installed upright, that is, installed on the horizontal pipe with the drive device above the pipe.
