AUMA electric actuator is one of the devices used to operate the valve and connected with the valve, is to achieve the electric control valve program control, automatic control and remote operation of the key equipment, its movement process can be controlled by the stroke, torque or the size of the axial thrust, the correct choice of AUMA electric actuator is very important, the valve stem may be too much force. Conversely, if the actuator is too small, it will not generate enough torque to fully operate the valve. Preventing overload (the operating torque is higher than the control torque) is an important factor in correctly selecting the valve AUMA electric actuator, then, let's understand how to correctly select the AUMA electric actuator!
The correct selection of AUMA electric actuators should be based on:
1. Operating torque: Operating torque is the main parameter of valve selection electric actuator. The output torque of the electric actuator should be 1.2 to 1.5 times the large torque of the valve operation.
2. Operation thrust: there are two main structure of the valve electric actuator, one is the direct output torque when the thrust disc is not configured; The other is equipped with a thrust plate, where the output torque is converted into the output thrust through the stem nut of the thrust plate.
3. Control form: Valve electric actuator is divided into switch type and regulator type, regulator type actuator signal is also divided into current signal and voltage information number.
4. Control voltage: Conventional electric actuator voltage has AC AC220V, AC AC380V, DC 24v and so on.
5. Output speed: the valve switch speed is fast, prone to water percussion phenomenon. Therefore, please choose the appropriate opening and closing speed according to the conditions of use.
6. Installation and connection: electric actuator installation methods include vertical installation, horizontal installation and landing installation; The connection mode is thrust plate; Valve stem through (open rod multi-rotary valve); Deep rod multi-turn; No thrust plate; The piston rod won't go through; Part of the rotary electric device is widely used, is to realize the valve program control, automatic control and remote operation of the indispensable equipment, mainly used in the globe valve. However, it cannot be ignored that the special requirements of the valve electric device can be limited to torque or axial force. Generally, the valve electric actuator uses a torque limiting coupling.
In the past, the method of protecting the motor uses fuses, overcurrent relays, thermal relays, etc., but these methods also have advantages and disadvantages, and there is no completely reliable protection method for equipment with load changes such as electric devices. Therefore, a combination of approaches is needed. However, due to the different load conditions of each electric device, it is difficult to propose a uniform method. However, there are many generalizations in which common ground can be found.
There are two types of overload protection for AUMA electric actuators.
1. Determine the increase or decrease of motor input current;
2. Determine the motor's own heat.
AUMA electric actuators are difficult to align with the heat capacity characteristics of the motor in a single way. Therefore, choose a composite way, combined with the method of reliable action due to overload reasons -- the overload protection function of the basic protection method of overload is as follows!
1. Constant motor operation or point operation overload protection using thermostat;
2. The motor lock protection adopts thermal relay;
3. Fuse or overcurrent relay is used in short circuit accidents.
